My second attempt ever at making a cake and I give myself a 6.5/10 as some basic errors, but overall it was edible. A step up from the previous try and a coffee and walnut. The nations favourite apparently. All this activity was probably brought on by a bit of binge watching GBBO the other week having exhausted all the tv viewing on normal telly. Also the fact it was my brothers birthday. There’s something enjoyable and creative to making food. I could see how the bug could catch. However I don’t see myself with a piping bag any day soon. Not just for the fact that my waist line couldn’t sustain the onslaught of cakeage!
